Leftover Essence

It happens with words and it happens with actions. It is a sequence of consecutive lies, promises, sorrows, hopes, miseries, pain, love and hatred. Hatred that has just blossomed in. Unfathomed it is, you’re definitely not the only one who’s getting affected by it, so stop crying over it. You were the one who was once extremely euphoric about it. It’s as if you break your car in a stupid accident, get it repaired after paying a heavy price for it, but once it gets mended, you forget absolutely everything about the damage and the money and then just three days later, it gets stolen. A man walking on the footpath, that’s running along the expressway, is unaware that milliseconds later, he’s going to lie there on the same footpath, dead, because he did not notice the electric pole that was erected there that was meant to be repaired by the electrician the other day who did not turn up because his wife ran away with the man who just grew rich by winning a lottery after he picked up a piece of paper that was thrown by a child whose father had just died because of a similar wicked pole. It’s interconnected. Everything in the world has a jinxed link with everything else. It’s you who has to find the missing bits, assemble them and complete the maze.
My pains and miseries might be the aftermath of your activities, but they are entirely my responsibility. The hurt inflicted by you was inevitable, I guess, but the suffering is optional. And now that it has come to going through the pain and getting over it, I will fight. Yes I will fight my battle and will make sure that you see me emerging out as the winner. I’m going to sieve through these sloshed times and will come out without getting struck by a pole or without getting my car stolen.
